It also distracts the person from dwelling on those negative thoughts that feed those anxious and depressing speculations since it needs to focus its attention to the physical task that is at hand.
While others also ridiculously try those – supposedly anti-depressant means by drinking alcohol or taking drugs to make them feel better, there is no bodily effort or pursuit to take their mind out from those depressing thoughts. And the person gets worse since he is still dwelling on his worries which taking things that are not good to take.
Physical activity to combat depression does not only mean rigid workouts although regular exercise is good enough. Physical activity, according to research, should be regular but does not have to follow some sort of formal program, but activities like regular walking can really help improve a person’s mood. We are saying here that there are other forms of physical activity other than exercising. Physical activity can curb anxiety but it will depend on the person himself what this physical activity will consist of to help him rid of his anxious thought. However, it must also nonetheless involve a physical activity to maintain one’s physical fitness.
